In addition to
his fore-edge work, Martin Frost has also painted many miniatures for
the covers of de-luxe 'Cosway' style bindings and paintings under
transparent vellum in the Vellucent style.
He has an
interest in 'limning', the archaic tradition of manuscript painting, and
has been commissioned to produce a number of illuminated miniatures.
Quality individual initials are available as are College and family
armorial crests. All are hand-painted on vellum using traditional
techniques and heightened with gold and palladium leaf.
